I was a little gun-shy, having tried both BCAAs and a pill-based pre-workout supplement from BPI and had them both either make me violently ill or clash fiercely with my SNRIs, thereby generating exceptionally nasty outbursts of negative behavior much too often. Doc gave me the green light to try new ones as long as I remained mindful and vigilant about behavior and attitude, so I started here. It took a little longer than I figured for it to really kick in - more like 45-60 minutes instead of the 30 claimed. But, I felt like it was giving me an upgraded pump, as I was able to do unassisted pull-ups much more easily than I
This mixes well enough and does not taste very good. I got a good workout in while using it. There are other preworkouts that can help me get through my workout just as well and taste a whole lot better.
Out of all of the pre-workout powders I've tried, this one tasted the worst. It did not mix well like some of the others do. The energy it provided was moderate as was the pump. I would not buy this as there are others out there that will do a much better job...and taste a lot better too.
